Winner industrial manufacturer “2013 alpha award”

Company Honoured in Manufacturer, Industrial Products Category

Town of Mount Royal, May 9, 2013 — Cre-O-Pack was extremely proud to be honoured during the 2013 Alpha Gala, presented by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Saint-Laurent – Mount Royal. The 2013 Alpha Contest aims to recognize the performance and creativity of regional companies and their employees.
A culture of innovation

Nominated in the Manufacturer, Industrial Products category, Cré-O-Pack stood out through a corporate culture focused on innovation. This award is very timely indeed, as its team has just completed a landmark year featuring several changes and fruitful investments.

“At Cre-O-Pack, our management style is squarely focused on change and innovation. In 2012, we launched two new product lines – now enabling us to offer a complete range of industrial packaging products and diversify our clientele – while wrapping up the acquisition and restructuring of a new division,” said Michel Champoux, President of Cre-O-Pack, who emphasizes that the commitment of his entire team drove both of these projects, which are already proving profitable for the company.

Beyond the cutting-edge tech equipment that supports both its creativity and competitiveness, Cre-O-Pack invests first and foremost in its human capital, with 15 new employees joining its ranks over the past few months. Strongly committed to added-value production (AVP) and added-value management (AVM), the company regularly updates its work and quality assurance processes.

Among the company’s most recent achievements is the roll-out of a new marketing plan, which included a more youthful take on its image. “We sought to innovate through both our market approach and tools, specifically the web, to provide the best assets to our sales force,” added Jean-Sébastien Comtois, Vice-President of Cre-O-Pack.

Cre-O-Pack is a Canadian leader in the design and manufacturing of high value-added packaging for air, ground and sea freight.

Active for the past 28 years, Cre-O-Pack boasts over 100 employees, with operations based in its Ville Mont-Royal plant and Toronto office. Its backlog features some of the biggest names in the aeronautics, robotics and high tech industries. Cre-O-Pack has stood out by consistently leveraging creativity, innovation and quality service.
